I’ve actually grown decently fond of Diablo. I enjoy his weird play style, and the potions mechanics give you a fair amount of choice in how you want to use him. Unfortunately, the 16 potions cap makes him a bit unviable for most content, and he doesn’t have any spectacular utility. Still fun though. (This is from playing around with a unawakened 5* I got from a Feature crystal from rifts. He’s fun with the full synergies).

Got a knight thrasher 5*. First 5* from a Grandmaster crystal ever.
The shard crystal afterwards gave me the dupe to awaken Him.

Just collection purposes. It's also useful if we have an Event like the one this month, but I just like collecting as many Champs as I can.

No, that is incorrect.

As has been said many times, the champs to the left & right of you are just random images geared to make you think you could have gotten a better champ. You were never going to get the ones on either side, it was already decided the moment you stuck the crystal in the spinner or popped it open.

It is just a little game they play to make you spin / spend more.
