Act 6.2.4 Electro on destructive feedback

If my attacks deal no damage for 10seconds, why am I taking damage from attacking electro when the kinetic shield is active?

The opponent loses health equal to the amount of damage you would have done while that shield was active. I suppose that in this case, you are still dealing damage to him, but he just isn't losing HP euqla to that damage during that time.
