Awakening Gem shards?

Would players welcome a system that let us trade up 2,3,4* gems by converting them to shards like is in place for catalysts? Seems like a good idea but at the same time could mean less actual gems in play as we get sharded to death in game. I'd be willing to give it a shot if kabam would try.

    I've brought this up before too. I've got loads of 2 and 3* awakening gems of all classes with extras in the stash just waiting to expire, new 2* and 3* don't come out quick enough to use them all with how often they drop from solo crystals. With the end game focus shifting from 4* to 5*, it only seems natural that 4* awakening should be more available too.

    I would accept this I have an abundance of 2/3* awakening gems I never use but would it be 1 class or be generic.

    Makes perfect sense but remember the t2a is about 300 t1a so it can get unrealistic to try and captialize on them
