Just an addendum, War doesn't either. In War, you have Attack Bonus. You get 3 per Node. If you die 3 times, you lose all 3. However, K.O.s and Items don't affect your score directly. Outside of that, you can die without affecting Points. It's not the same in AQ. That's based on Points. (Peak Milestones, Rank)

Fairly sure they have never had any impact on aq scoring

You can see that it doesn’t matter when viewing the points at the end of a day with equal map difficulties having 100% clears, they will all have the same point total within 1-2 points (rounding or prestige change is my guess there) regardless of the difference of items and deaths between the BGs.

At one time, K.O.s were a penalty in War. That's no longer the case. They've never affected AQ, and neither system has ever had a direct scoring penalty for Items. Defender Kills did, indirectly.
