Spiderman evading venom??

In 5.2.3 quest the don there is a spiderman that is the first enemy you encounter and for some reason it keeps evading my venom which i thought wasnt possible. Any explination would help and any advice on how to beat it would be great. Thanks

You don't have the klyntar buff. You need to in order to stop the evade mechanic from spider-verse champions ...
