I want to know how come when I fought boss Vision in the event quest, his special attacks drained my power??

He should be able to counter this node, period!!

My guess is that "cannot" is a 100% ability accuracy and aspect of evolution is slowly inching the chance of it being done by 5% per bar of power gained. But that would only be an educated guess.

Wouldn't that imply that ability accuracy has an effect on immunity? That would be like saying that you can bleed sentinel if you decrease his ability accuracy enough.

Even if that’s the case it should not matter. Cannot prevents anything from the original ability from happening. It’s like ST heal which has an increased AA healing with a heal block, that can’t happen

We know that cannots and always have residence and can be prevented or affected in SOME cases, such as Corvus' glancing hits on Antman will never crit despite saying they always are, or Ironmans Iw "cannot miss". I am not saying this is or is not a bug, just stating what I think may be happening.

if it is an active Buff, and this is the case, then it can be nullified, just like the Ice Man's Armor for example ^_^

It is a buff and can be removed by buffet and nullify effect. For example when fighting a spiderverse champ on buffet, the node will eat the klyntar buff at the start of the fight and champs like spidey can evade until the buff comes back.

I must didn't pay attention if it ever happened to me on a buffet node. A regeneration buff can be nullified, but I never seen my KB be nullified.

The only thing I can think of is on the other node every time he fills a bar of power his ability accuracy goes up by 5% - which I'm guessing allows him to counter my Klyntar Buff???

They specifically stated that for a defender if I am not mistaken, a defenders cannot will trump an attackers always. For example NC can still bamf out of of IMIWs repulsors which cannot be evaded as long as NC is on defense.

You're saying two things at once. You said that an attacker's "always" will be ****** by a defender's "cannot". But in the example you gave. NC's "always" is ******* IMIW's "cannot".

I got drained by Vision after he got one bar of power also. Maybe I got 5% unlucky, but I finished that map so I'm not testing further. If anyone else tries, let us know.

Came here to look for the answer to this specific question...

I just assumed it was the “power drain” aspect of the node that was overriding the fact that Vision is a tech champ. Since the “power drain” node can be used for anyone?
