Wasp not stunning on heavy?

I’ve noticed that occasionally, when I chain a heavy into a basic combo, the defender won’t get stunned and I’ll get smacked and killed. This is happening in EQ (no nodes except global) and arena. Is there anything I’m missing?

Since people will probably ask, this has happened against a Gwenpool, GR, Medusa, and other champions that don’t affect AA on defence.

    You’re going too slow into the heavy, you can’t hesitate when you do it.
