cant finish act 1 ch 4 quest 3

hey guys im a noob to this game and i am trying to finish all the quests of act 1 but I am stuck on ch 4 quest 3. Any tips or ideas on how to finish it? i know most of you probably have finished this act years ago. the boss is wolverine and the quest is called deception. i only have completed 77 percent and cant get to 100 no matter what. i have tried about a half dozen times now and i only see 4 different paths. Thanks

Invest in parry and dexterity and take the path left of colossus

i don't think OP has problems with beating the boss, but to 100% complete the quest because it doesn't find the path: as the user above me has mentioned, take the left when you are at colossus, that path is still unexplored ^_^
