Champs stuck

My champs are stuck in a war and I kicked out of it....what should i do to get em back.

    Don't join a war if you weren't told to join? Don't place trash defenders in? Place 5 defenders instead of 3? Don't freeload? Communicate better with alliance? This will help prevent your next kicking.
