Ultron ( from LoL ) can’t use rank up Gem

So just finished a part of variant 3 and got myself a tech rank up gem 3-4 ( 2015-2016) .
All champs from the list can be rank up with it except Ultron from Labyrnith of Legends.
Is he not in the list or is just a natural kabam problem ?

    Ultron did not have a conventional release, so it won't.
