who to rank up against sunspot

my incenerate immune champs are: 5* r1 volture
4* r4 red hulk awakened
4* r2 havok and mephisto, both are unawakened but i have 4* generic awakening gem.
my goal is to get 4* to r5 or 5* to r3 for this purpose.

Havok and rulk are good Mephisto and vulture are ok. If use the gem on Havok.
