Variant 3 2.2 Domino Crit Fail vs Tech

The domino in variant 3 - 2.2 is relentlessly triggering critical failure against my Sparky.

I pulled up a YouTuber using sentinel and it didn’t trigger a single time, even far before analysis was built.

Techs are supposed to be immune to ability modification. This simply has to be a bug...

Just reran the fight with ghost and verified zero critical failures with her.

100% bugged with Sparky. Once again, bugs costing us items.

Critical failure triggers when an ability of yours fails to occur.

It has little to do with your ability accuracy unless your 100% chance ability is reduced by Domino’s probability field or unlucky passive and an ability of yours fail to occur due to the reduction.

In the case of Spiderman he has a 3% chance to evade attacks and you will suffer Critical Failure every time he does not evade one of Domino’s attacks.

There are some bugs with it though. Two that come to mind are Ghost’s 10% chance to gain a cruelty buff on non critical hits and Hulk Ragnarok’s 5% chance to smash both do not trigger critical failure.

Yep, you dont use anything that has triggers that can not trigger, such as 3% evade, against domino.

If you used ghost as a phasing champ you will not get a crit failure, because all her hits are guaranteed crits, therefore the cruely buffs do not stack under "all attacks". Run her back through and dont use phasing and you will see lots of crit failures on not critical hits because the cruelty buff only has a 10% chance to trigger. Spidy is not bugged, you just do not understand Domino's sig ability.
