Eternal losing screen when quitting fight during opponent S3

If I quit the fight when an opponent does an S3 because it's pointless letting it go on (mostly I'll die so what's the point?) I'm getting an eternal loading screen and I have to close the game and reload.
It's really annoying.

I've only experienced it in monthly EQ but that's really because I don't let them get to S3 in AQ and I rarely do arena any more.

Playing on pixel 3 XL on latest update and latest version of the game

Title should say loading screen not losing screen

It's been bugged since a few updates ago. Several people have brought it up but nothing is fixed.
