AW Season 12 start date and global buffs

The AW season tab in game suggest that Season 12 starts tomorrow. Is that wrong, or is the lack of notice of global buffs just another example of Kabam’s lack of consideration of it’s player base.

Is it that they really believe that being able to prepare hurts the game, or is it that the extra time to be called out on bad decisions is inconvenient?

Would be interested to hear what anyone with less than 2,000 forum posts thinks.
