Thing immunity

Why is thing immune to passive shocks but Corvus (another shock immune character is not). There is a node (not sure what it is called) where for every buff you activate when the defender throws their special attack you get a passive shock and my Corvus takes damage from that while thing does not. I haven't really looked into this or anything so I intend on checking this more properly in the future.

Corvus has no immunities. He does not take damage from shock DEBUFFS, bleed DEBUFFS, and coldsnap DEBUFFS while his ability is activated

Corvus's description literally says "does not take damage from shock debuffs"
and things says "immune to shock"
and yet only thing is immune to passive shock debuffs while Corvus is not
why is it that bleed immune champions can be given passive bleeds but thing cannot be given passive shocks

Hey there, just to confirm what has been said, Thing is immune to all Shock effects, which would include Shock Debuffs and Passive Shock Effects. Corvus Glaive can still be inflicted with Shock Debuffs but does not take damage from them while his Glaive's Immunity is active. He can still be inflicted with, and take damage from, Passive Shock Effects though.
