It's called keeping your treasury up so you have it in case you need it, most alliances do that, when I was an officer we did that and kept donations going when maps were free. Then if you decide to move up you already have bc's in your treasury, common sense

We have one bg that does 6x5 and the whole alliance benefits, so the whole alliance pays for it. We have also had one bg do a mix of map 5/6 in the past depending on availability for map 6. Besides, you get more than that in return for doing AQ, so I don’t understand why you’re whining. It’s 7,500bc, super easy to acquire, takes little to no effort. We aren’t greedy, we are a fair alliance and we don’t require you to live in the game to be a part of our group.
