LOL Preparation. Does power boost work ?

I think I know the answer to this. But to be sure ; the 150% and 200% power boosts don't work in LOL do they ?

They work, but the amount of % HP you deal is so low that you don't see any benefit on using them

Don’t bother with them, even the hardest hitting specials don’t give much power
