AI intercepting with a special while mid-heavy

I recently noticed that sometimes the AI will intercept you with a special if you try to attack them during their heavy animation. I don't think it's fair since you have to rely in intercepting heavies in many situations such as stun immune, pushing the opponent to the sp2, against havok and many more.

Has anyone else seen this issue?

    Damn, I thought it was just me on my outdated device. I see all kinds of weird, difficult to replicate animations all the time. Like this is a good example.
