Gates with new champs?

Come on Kabam, what is this thing about putting new champs in gates? In the event quest, Time after Time you placed The Thing. I don’t have that champ in any rarity so wont be able to 100% any difficulty. Really cheap move. You should give 2 stars at least to be able to complete the quests. Or place only older champs in the gates, like the ones the crystals give, so anyone can advance in the quests. I’m one of the guys that actually spends some money in the game. Even the summoner supreme monthly thing. This kind of cheap shots really makes me think about not spending any more in here.

You'll be able to get 2* versions pretty soon from special crystals in the 1v1 arenas. Remember the 2* crystals from Gwenpool goes to the movies?

Don’t have the required Champions? Don’t worry!

From September 25th to October 2nd, a 2-Star Basic Unified Hero Crystal containing the required Champions will replace Versus Crystals in Quickmatch.

NOTE: These 2-Star Unified Basic Hero Crystals found in Quickmatch will only contain "Basic" versions of these Champions, which means that duplicating Champions will not award any Crystal Shards, but only 1 Signature Level increase.
