Will there be a gifting event this holiday season?

Has anybody heard, or can an admin advise if there will be any kind of Gifting event for Christmas this year? This is the time of year I start holding units so i can give everybody in my alliance stuff, so I would like to plan ahead if possible. I know they took the gifting badges away because of some devious behavior, but maybe they’ll replace it with something like the Chinese New Year Tickets?

    I kind of hope not because all of the people cheating by using gifting badges will be able to “cash out” come December, but if that bad stuff didn’t exist, it would be a welcome event.

    It's possible. I'd opt for an in-game Resource not available for money, just to minimize the possibility of Fraud. That's just me.
