He's immune to Incinerate and Coldsnap, as well as Power drain, which is rare. So he can completely ignore Freezerburn nodes, and most of the damage from Sunspot and Human Torch. He's also got a useful synergy with Darkhawk that lets you wreck Autoblock opponents like Modok.

Could have been much worse.
