Pausing fight in Quest and being Timed Out

I paused the fight right at the beginning and got the pause screen. However after a few minutes the pause screen vanished and it Timed me out so losing the fight and taking half my health. This happened a couple of weeks ago and has happened again today. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

    This is normal; your timer for AQ and AW fights, the 3 minutes, does not stop just because you paused the game.
