Synergies in Alliance War Defense

What was the final word on whether or not AW defenders can/will bring their synergies to battle opposing teams? I see many who have built AW defenders based on Syns so if not important, then such a waste.

    Hey there, synergies are not active for champions placed on defense in Alliance Wars.

    Lots of people aren’t on the forums and don’t know they haven’t worked (for almost 2 years).

    Why not send an in game email to everyone ? Or place a banner in AW that states defensive synergies have been deactivated.

    Agree with this last sentiment. Picking Defensive Team SHOULD NOT be showing these Synergies as being highlighted as you are picking the Defense.

    And “if or when” synergies (or maybe at least some of the “Basic” synergies) do become available, that would make it easy to see which Synergies actually would be used vs those that would not be used.

    Sorry for the confusion but we don't have any new information at this time about the status of synergies in war defense.
