Corvus glaive immunity buff question

Shouldnt corvus's glaive immunity buff come back up after mephistos soul imprisonment expires after 15 seconds? The glaive charges are still present and not used up, so after 15 seconds its just the glaive charges without the immunity buff without which the crits are low and hits dont ignore opponents armor.

However the ice armor of ice man comes up after the 15 seconds of soul imprisonment, so shouldnt corvus's buff also come up in the same way? Is this normal behavior?

    His true damage buff cycles whenever his glaive’s immunity cycles. You need to be knocked down or cycle your charges to regain it after you lose it. Your cruelty buffs are only earned at fight start or when completing the evade/auto block mission.

    are you sure mate? Coz this months UC EQ mephisto boss is giving me a hard time, I completed it though but each time that purple thing doesnt come back up after the mephistos soul imprisonment timer expires, this stops all opponents buffs from activating. 15 seconds is the timer as per bio.

    You have to get knocked down or expend the glaive charges and wait out the timer. It only comes back from either of those conditions.

    Thanks mate, I know those corvus caveats but that knocked down thing might activate it back up after the soul imprisonment timer expires but this months UC EQ mephisto boss is so jacked that his hits will not give me chance to test the knocked down and back up method but I can gurantee that corvus is losing it due to mephistos soul imprisonment.

    The purple thing is not glaive immunity, it is true damage/strike, and you get that back when you cycle glaive charges.

    Thanks mate. I thought so about the knocked down thing but UC EQ mephisto boss is jacked and I might not stand a chance. I saw icemans ice armor automatically come back up after the timer expired so was wondering about corvus's buff too should come back up automatically.

    I guess thats the catch here to get knocked down purposefully and then wait it to come back up. Would have loved to test it but just now finished the last path.

    Yep, true damage thats the exact name, dint have proxima in team so not true strike. Thats lost due to mephistos soul imprisonment and didnt come back automatically like icemans ice armor so was wondering if its normal. I think I got the answer as @Demonzfyre says.

    He does have a similar mechanic to Iceman, it’s just that the event trigger is not a timer but instead the trigger is when his Glaive’s immunity cycles. Not to say there is a rule that once you lose a buff it must cycle back at some point, just that his true damage buff does have a cycle in place to regain it once lost.
