Question about alliance treasury balance

Our alliance no longer requires donations because of the changes Kabam made to alliance quest map costs, so I am wondering what can be done, if anything, with the balance in our treasury? Just leave it there until we move up to a map difficulty that requires donations? Can it be redistributed to the alliance members?
