Symbiote supreme vs analalis

So Symbiote supreme removed his unique buff and then i placed 2stagger on opponent , then his unique buff triggered consuming one stagger and was nullified ... But he still got three fury's while he still.had a stagger ... Is this the correct interaction?

I've been noticing this as well running thru the EQ.

but i run a r5 5* Supreme so bug boy is dead after a minute.

still weird to see those Fury pop up when he has 2-3 staggers.

so When a buff would be nullified he sacrifices the control rod instead. The game behaves in a way that when they all come up at the same time the interaction all happens simultaneously, so it sacrificed the control rod ad the other buffs were allowed to stay. If they had come up after that the other staggers would have kicked in. It is the same behavious we see with masochism and buffet.
