Fights not counting towards special solo objectives

I have been using champs with mercenary tag and I am not getting credit towards the solo objectives. Is this known bug yet?

Have to fight AGAINST a Mercenary (or Hero/Villain for those Objectives) in order to get points for Objectives.
FYI, searching by player name in game “Taskmaster”, “Cage”, or “Widow” all bring up either a low level Taskmaster or Widow to be able to Duel for Mercenary.

And I just did one of them, and it DID increase my Mercenary Objective Points (not sure about Claiming, that may or may not still be having problems).
