R5 Red hulk

Is Red hulk worth a R5 science gem to pair with Domino ? Has anyone here done that ? Looking for advice 🤔
My other option is Void but i use the Domino trinity for most content mainly Domino.

when you use redhulk for synergy with domino you are typically not looking for him to do the damage, I would go void.

I use my R2 Rulk with R2 Domino all the time. I also have a R5 Void though. It'll just come down to who you think will benefit you more but Rulk is underrated by a whole lot of people

I have 5* r5 Domino (sig 40), Rulk (sig 140) and Masacre (sig 200)and no regrets, all get used all the time...AQ, quests. no wars for me...they are all great, the biggest surprise is Masacre but I'm glad I took him to r5 over Blade and Nick Fury.

I have r2 6* not duped rulk and don't use domino. Would've love to use massacre, but only have a 4*. Rulk has some damage when ramped, but I love him for all the utility he gave me. I did uc eq sinister with him - at 10 charges even crit hits don't heal him. Freezburn node? Rulk just ramps faster. Same for some act 6 nodes, where you get incinerate when deal too big damage. Same for poison conversion. Soloed this month eq doom easily. I also use him for most havoks I face - not perfect option, but he rumps fast and can eat some damage.
I have mut r5 gem, but don't use it on domino, as I don't enjoy her and just don't need her so far. So if you don't like rulk and don't need him, go with void.

Also imo void is fine at r4, I see him more as utility champ, like power gain/heal reverser

Rulk is a beast and a mystic slayer. With the trinity you start at 4 charges and at 10 you have almost 300% damage. This means rulk benefits a lot from R5.

Void is a specialist who is great vs reg and passive powergain. He doesnt need to be R5 to be very good. Except if you use him on war offense a lot (every points counts there)

Rulk is also very good at dealing with some matchups domino struggles with. For ex darkhawk (blocking SP1 give ypu charges)

And he is basicly poison and incinerate immune. One of the best sience ( imo top 5)

And an absolute beast in recent EQ boss fights (Human Torch, Sunspot, Mephisto).

His sig is underrated. Not only does he start with two heat charges (saving you a SP1) and give incinerate resistance (in those match-ups with passive incinerate like Mephisto), but he also he gains physical resistance per charge, amounting above 2k with high enough sig. He can tank a hit if he needs to.

Pro tip: She-Hulk increases his attack rating by 2% per heat charge. As heat charge damage is based on damage dealt, that will to increase.

To answer OP's question: it depends how you want to use them both. They're couldn't be more further away. If you are really a heavy fire trinity user, then pick Rhulk. Of Void is your Swiss army knife, then pick Void.

Got him at 5/65 among Domino and Masacre all awaken at 5/65. It's a great team and I use all of them in quests and AW. Void does all he does fine at rank4. Have him awakened sig 200 at rank4 and don't feel a need to take him farther up atm. So the answer is yes, definitely.

Just pulled Rulk, already have domino r5 x200. Considering his r4 immedeatly, great champ!

I too think rulk is a bit underrated. I was using 6* rulk before i got my domino and he has been a workhorse. He is very durable with great damage and his lack of buffs and debuffs lets you bypass quite a lot of annoying stuff in the game. Also the fact that at 10 stacks he does 180% extra passive damage is also great which again bypasses some game mechanics. Now with 6star domino i m kinda considering him for a future r2.
As many people have already mentioned void can do his magic at r4 and unless you use him a lot in aw or questing for some reason i don't see much benefit on using the gem on him. I don't think it's worth keeping a gem for one or two specific chars that you might get in the future unless you have the luxury of waiting (meaning your roster is wide and complete enough that you don't really need any r5s). Tough decision but definitely don't think rulk with trinity is a bad r5 option.
