Alliance Quest Modifiers: Honor and Bonus Points Breakdown

Greetings Summoners!

A new update is coming to Alliance Quests on November 15th! We’ve changed up the Rank Rewards, and refreshed the Glory Store, as well as added the new feature, Alliance Quest Modifiers.

Now, we’re going to dive in to how you earn Honor Points and Bonus Points towards your Alliance Quest Scores.

Honor Points

You earn Honor Points for using Alliance Quest Modifiers. The more unique Modifiers that your Alliance uses in a series, the more Honor Points that you can earn. These are selected by Battlegroup, For a breakdown of Honor points, take a look at the Chart Below

How to Calculate your Potential Points:

Above you’ll find a Chart of the Points available for using a unique Modifier every day. If you’d like to calculate the points you’ll earn, start at Unique Buff 1. When you use a different Modifier, move right to the next Column, and up or down to which map you used it on. Add these together to see your new total per BG.

For example, if you use a Master Buff on Map 5, Day 1, and a new Master Buff on Map 5 on Day 2, you will have 2000 Honor points.

If you do not choose a new Unique Buff, do not move right.

For example, if you use a Master Buff on Map 5, Day 1, and the same Master Buff on Map 5 on Day 2, you will have 1600 Honor points.

Unique Buffs also count across Maps and Difficulties, so even if your Battlegroup changes Maps, you can still maximize the amount of Honor points that you earn.

For example, if you use a Heroic Buff on Map 4, Day 1, and a new Master Buff on Map 5 Day 2, you will have 1700 Honor Points.

Keep in mind, Unique Buffs are counted across Maps.

For example, if you use a Heroic Buff on Map 4, Day 1, and the same Heroic Buff on Map 5 Day 2, you will only earn 1200 Honor Points.

Lastly, for a real world example, let’s imagine a week that looks like this:

Map 6, Master Unique Buff 1 - 1100
Map 6, Master Unique Buff 2 - 1650
Map 5, Master Unique Buff 3 - 1600
Map 6 Master Unique Buff 3 - 2200
Map 4 Heroic Unique Buff 4 - 1250

This would end this BG with a grand total of 7800 Honor points for this Series.

Bonus Points

Bonus Points are points that you can earn towards your Alliance Quest event points. They contribute to your Peak Milestone and Rank Rewards.

These points are calculated in the same manner as Honor points.

Get Ready!

Both Honor Points and Bonus Points will be available when Alliance Quest Modifiers are introduced on November 15th!
