Need Advice on Elder's Bane

^ my entire 4/5* roster. I also have 2 4* generic awakening gems and 1 4* skill gem.

I'm working on my roster to try going for elder's bane, I have 5.1 explored and one run through the rest of the act. Are there any particularly difficult paths I should know of before going in/any essential champs I haven't already ranked up? I'm planning to max my corvus for the collector fight unless I have better options for him. Also mephisto and iceman for certain paths. Are any of them worth awakening for exploration? Any other champs I should rank up/awaken?

The paths from 5.2.4 to 5.2.6 are perhaps the worst content in Act 5 and most players leave them for last, even after having explored 5.3 and 5.4.

Exploration of 5.3 is all about roster depth and diversity. If you rush through it, things will get... costly. My suggestion is that you start exploring the chapters that your roster is more powerful in the specific class they require.

Up to 5.2.3 things are rather straignt-forward. Explore to that point and then see how it goes, depending your roster.

@Hector_1475 does awakening 4* iceman help much? I'm planning to rank him up for the caltrops nodes in 5.2.4 and the bleed/poison routes in 5.4, coldsnap helps with some evade fights as well.

Is Corvus a good option for the collector? On my first run through I used blade, not sure which one is better. I don't have ghost rider synergy. And does corvus need sig for that fight as well?

I would save the collector for last until you get a solid counter like SpiderGwen. Like others say, just explore up to 5.2.3 then either

skip to 5.3 and do the quests where you classes are strong enough
OR go on to 5.4

Then the other of the above options^ then go back and do the 5.3 leftovers then finish with 5.2.4-..6

Couple champ suggestions, rank up sparky because he still does a ton of damage with the 50% damage reduction in 5.3. Also if you have him hiding somewhere (I don’t see him) use Sabertooth for 5.2.4 with KM synergy and he cancels that. Just pack a handful of bleed immunes for caltrops path.
