Beginner bracket in arena

For dr doom, I got 1.1 million points in the beginner bracket 4 star featured arena and I only got top 11 to 30%. Is it because he is a super high demand champ and needs like 2 million points to get him?

that and low number of people in the beginners bracket means the top members also make up the top 10%.
