Opening Nexus Crystals Later

I was wondering if I held opening my 5* Nexus crystal till Dec. 3 when Warlock enters the basic pool. I would still be able to pick him up from the Nexus crystal?

I would assume so because it’s still a basic crystal

I think the consensus is that a crystal has whatever is available at the time the crystal is formed/bought. So with that, only champs from today would be included. If haven’t seen any kind of proof or testing though.

Basic crystal has all champs available in basic pool the moment it is put on spin reel or opened.
Doesn't matter when it was bought.

Not sure whether Nexus crystal will work the same. Will need clarification from Kabam on that.
