Grandmaster crystal shards

So I’m a couple of weeks a new crystal will be introduced, and we know it will have shards as the calendar will give shards, but I am wondering if new content such 5.3 and 5.4 will contain these shards, as I think it would be a good addition to give them as rewards for completing each individual quest, I would like to see these become as common as premiums are now in the future, if kabam could please respond it would be highly appreciated
