Is there a site/app for putting in bg AW defense teams? An officer in my alliance was using one but he left without a word and I haven't been able to find the one he used.

That does fit an entire battle group, you just need 1 for each battle group

It also allows players to setup and change their champs so that you dont have to do so much work.
