Largest possible jump in AW Rank

For new Alliances that come in without a rating, or those that start off at the stone level and recruit a huge roster - is there a limit to how much they can advance in AW rank?

I'm curious if a 30M alliance would still take a couple of seasons to get up to the platinum level because they have to plow through stone, silver, gold, etc. or if it's possible to make leaps and bounds.

It would be based on war rating. Getting to 2K+ from a neutral 1K in one season/off season wouldn't be too hard.

Although, shell alliances exist because of this, though.
