AI firing specials mid combo hitting into block

Why is the AI firing a special mid combo when hitting there block ? First in AQ hitting into ultron a block he fires an L2 third hit in and takes 24k health off me then in war fighting Corvus in counter strike node stun immune hitting into his block again third hit in Fires an L1 into my face and I die immediately. Since when was this W thing ?

100% right
I was fighting modok in arena using gwenpool and he threw an sp2 mid my heavy which is really bad and i lost the match(not the streak though)
