Scarlet Witch poison only as defender?

Is this a possible bug? I notice that as a defender, SW inflicts a poison debuff regularly. But I have never seen one when using SW as an attacker. Am I missing something here?

She was used a lot as an attacker before back in her time of fame and glory. Today it’s rarely seen.

When attacking she can trigger power steal, power lock, regen, fury, and cruelty.

When defending she can trigger poison, heal block, weakness, armor, and power gain.

I probably missed some but there are different subsets of effects depending on if she crits or if the opponent does.
