screen view not following fighters

in 1x1 quickmatch, the screen view didn't follow the players. the opponent dashed back, out of the screen to the right, and my fighter followed. then the opponent attacked, pushing my fighter out of the screen left, then the opponent followed to exit the screen to the left. tried to capture it in screenshots. never happened to me before.
