Warlock quite low damage, worth class gem?

Hi all, just checking in, do you all think a 5 star warlock is worth a tech awakening gem?

    Sounds like you dont enjoy him. If that's the case then no. I did so I used one on him and dont regret it. It's nice to see a couple hundred damage tick for degen.

    His damage can actually ramp up pretty nicely. Get some infections on the opponent, drop a SP2 to get the armor breaks on there too, and I've had my 5/65 (no suicides or boosts) crank out 15k and 16k crits on heavy attacks, and mediums that easily do over 4k crits. It's not the crazy damage you see from some champs, but you factor in his massive amount of utility and Warlock is easily one of the best all-around champs in the game. He is my go-to when doing potion farming runs on RoL Wolverine now; he gets him down very quickly by completely blocking out his regen and causing degeneration whenever the regen procs while Wolverine is infected.

    I would definitely urge you to give him a chance. While he doesn't need his awakened ability to be excellent, I would say he is definitely worth a class awakening gem. That being said, my general rule of thumb is that no matter how "worthy" a champ is of an awakening gem or not, I only use them if I will rank up the champion. If you simply will not use Warlock because you don't like playing him, then don't use the gem on him. But if you give him a chance and like playing him, take him up, awaken him, and dominate a whole lot of the more challenging content of this game.
