Which 5* to rank 5?

I’ll be exploring act 5 100% soon so I’ll have the ability to take one of these champs to rank 5 and awaken them. This champ will be my first 5* rank 5.

My main focus in this order will be completing act 6, variant, AQ and LOL. Ideally I’d not be running Suicide masteries. Your opinions are appreciated, thank you.

You pretty much have the best champions to go for suicide masteries. Corvus omega aegon and bwcv become so much better with those. About who to level up, it is a hard choice and depends on if you decide to go the suicide way, what sig they are at, if you have specific synergies available at 5* (cmm and nick fury mostly, st for or) and what you want to get out of your first r5. Most of them are really worthy of being your first rank 5. I d say if you change your masteries Corvus and OR are mvps. If you got nf cmm is great. Caiw is a great all rounder with great utility if awakened.

Thank you. I think for the moment I’m going to stay away from Suicide masteries because I don’t have enough champs at a high rank that I use who have immunities for it to make sense.

Don’t have nick fury at the moment. I do already have capt iw awakened at level 50 and I could take him to level 100 with what I have stored up. He’s been a really great champ for me and proved very useful for act 5.

Whoever I choose I’ll probably be able to get at sig level 75-100 right away. Lately I’ve been Leaning towards omega red but is he still a top 5 champ without Suicide masteries? Again my main focus is clearing act 6 so if you could choose 1 champ to do so, who would you go with? Or maybe more simply put, who’s the best champ in the game? I’ve been very lucky to have captured a decent amount of them in the 10 above.

Corvus will destroy 80% of Act 6 content. You can’t go wrong with Corvus as an R5 5*.

Absolutely love corvus, but ramping him up sometimes against defenders who have 80k+ health can be annoying at times. Of course a rank 5 corvus will be much more deadly I imagine.

There is no best champion in the game. You have a list of some of the top champions there though. I ll explain my view on the champs you have and hopefully maybe give you some useful information.
Corvus is really great and makes your life so easy when he works (he is cruising through monthly eq, 6.1 and some of 6.2 but he is slowly falling behind after the new 6.3 healthpools). Still imo one of the best aw attackers and probably the best aqer (map 7 starts to become more champion specific cause of nodes but oh well). Huge benefit from suicides and kinda needed imo.
OR is more versatile, imo a better champion than corvus (since he can do more things than corvus in the game overall). Great quester/aqer/aw attacker. Becomes quite better with suicides and awaken.
Aegon best choice for lol great for a6, decent at aq. Suicides give him a nice bump.
CMM great champion with or without suicides. Can do pretty much everything especially when awakened but kinda depends on nf synergy.
CAIW great overall champion. Can do so much pretty much everywhere and doesn't rely on suicides. He is relevant on almost all content and since you have him awakened, you can put some sigs on him and you don't want to go suicides yet i think that's the one i would rank up if i were you under those conditions.
Blade sparky bwcv (another suicide friendly champ) are great but imo your other options are better.
AA and gulk are great but imo do what they are supposed to do fine at r4 and not worth r5 unless you are a whale swimming in t5b and t2a.

Thanks Nimor, certainly a lot of great knowledge here that I’ll have to consider when making my decision.

I’m still wondering though, if you had to pick one champ and only one to play the game the rest of your life, who would it be? Would love to hear everyone’s answer to that!
