Messaging players in-game

I have always been super curious and at times frustrated by the inability to message other players in game WITHOUT being their friend first. Its like sometimes I want to message my dungeon partner and tell him thx for wasting my time or to Cowhale and see if he gift me an odin just because

When was the last time you were on global? That place is a cesspool and to have everyone of those clowns able to message anyone they chose the block lists would be huge

But you SHOULD be able to blindly Message players in your OWN ALLIANCE without having to go back-n-forth with first adding them as Friends.

Especially for new members, you can send them a note right away, even if they have since logged out of game before you want to send them a msg.

Or for cases some alliance mates have too many other non-ally friends so don’t want to take up 29 more friend slots for everyone in alliance.

as long as i have that Block Message option, fine.

Yep, was gonna add that, just wanted to leave it simplistically here.
But solution/alternative to having to block someone in own alliance is to have Officers KICK them instead if they are abusive, etc, in Msgs with other teammates (lol).
