I just pulled him today but I’m scared to rank him up and put a generic gem into him with all the sig stones. Should I wait or will his rebalance if he gets one will it not be that bad.

Do not and I repeat do not rank up any champs kabam is set to rebalance (nerf) before the changes go thru and you can test them out... otherwise you might just lose out on resources you'll need down the road...I really hope you consider this and good luck!

Glad to help! I'm waiting on Cull... have the awakening gem and all but won't take him past r3 before seeing if these changes will just be old Dr. Strange nerfs... will see

Do we know when In January Kabam plans on letting us know what they are doing to namor. Hopefully they just leave him alone.

Sigh yet another post overreacting to the namor/cull rebalancing. Do what you want but kabam posted the other day that any changes if they are even made will be minor and that no champ is getting buffed or nerfed. Additionally there are champs ahead of namor and cull on the rebalancing list which isn’t even starting until feb. finally if for some reason kabam does nerf a champ they will issue rank down tickets just like they did with she hulk (which largely went unused btw). Worst case scenario is they nerf namor months from now but give you rank down tickets to recoup some of your resources in the meantime there is a ton of content he could help you clear as he is right now. Plus his prestige will help your alliance.

Many have said they would gladly sacrifice a little of culls damage for a little more block proficiency.

Why do so many think they are gonna do a 12.0 again? Even tho they have done more buffs recently and not 1 actual nerf since AA

So I get the rank down tickets but the only problem with rank down tickets is that doesn’t give you back all the sig stones you dump into them. That’s why I have a concern to rank him up because I would be putting so many sig stones into him to get him to sig 200 so unlike some people I think of the other resources I would be putting into him.

I feel your dilemma as I’m in the same position with Namor. He’s my current best option for the Christmas generic awakening gem but those gems are so scarce that I’m nervous of wasting it.

I have never seen Kabam give back the awakening gem or sig stones so I doubt you get that back that’s why I was hoping to hear if they do change him will it be a small change and he will still be a beast or could It be a big change.

Wait and see. Their retuning program is still on paper but ppl make it sound like it is SW, and DS's nerf.
After all, it is just a game and I rank up champs I like to have fun, not to be worried over my decision in game. Refund will be given out if needed, so go and have fun with your fav champs.
I don't spend money to get sig stones and only managed to pour 100 sigs into Namor. For the whole year, I can earn only 100 mutant sigs so I know they are valuable for FtPs. If the retuning and refund is unreasonable then I'll quit the game. No string attached because I have had my fun playing it for a while.

I have been playing this game 4 years and don’t want to quit because of this. I also just don’t want to waste 180 dog stones for him to be a lot worse. I just wish Kabam would tell us what there plans are so I can make my decision on to rank him up and dump my sig stones into him. Hopefully they just don’t touch him at all. I mean is he all that powerful now as it is. Please Kabam let us know what your plans are with him.

Exactly my point... people talk rank down tickets, but fail to mention the gold, gems, sig stones, etc...

Do what you want people but the op simply asked for advice and from the companies current track record I just believe it's better to wait regardless of prestige and whatever else you can name lol no shots at anyone but I'd rather be patient then extremely disappointed.

I didn’t pull namor but I pulled cull. I would not invest a single iso until announced, released, and people have had a chance to form an opinion. You are lucky that you know it’s coming, depending on the severity others weren’t. Nothing can be minor but required. Wait and see

Then why even change him. Let’s just make all champs do the exact same damage, same heavy speed, animation, utilities. Other wise you always have a champion doing your so call “too much damage” which pulls out of your bottom line the dollar bill.

So what? Some people huff freon, but that doesn't mean it's wise. We keep hearing "minor adjustment" but there's little evidence that the team knows what is minor and what isn't in terms of actual use in actual content. See, for example, the absolute ruin of Doc Strange.

Did they have a rank up gem and wish to change those to t2a once rtds are issued for the nerf? I might go ahead and r5 my cull too.... lol just kidding it was a funny thought (at least in my head)

Let’s not forget that OG Thor at one time stacked armor break like Corvus. After throwing all of my resources into Namor I’m finally debating quitting this game. There’s been a bunch of things I’ve enjoyed about this game but the shady tactics of releasing an OP high prestige champ that everyone spends money to get & saves resources to rank only to see them nerfed is garbage. I could have used that generic awakening gem & 120 sig stones on Aegon.

However it is interesting that kabam employees have inside information. So he knows what the changes will be and can act on them... while the rest of the community stays in the dark. I bet employees also know when a champ is going to be changed well in advance of the community and can make rank choice based on that insiders view? Where people in the community are just ranking a soon to be “re balanced” champ with no knowledge of if that champ will remain the same 3-5 months down the road... idk seem a little like stuff you step on in a cow pasture...
