FWIW: Somebody here, after testing out the Balance changes, took their Namor to Rank 5, Sig 200.
@Kabam Miike FWIW: You guys could put every bit of speculation to bed by informing the community, as you said you would (remember that whole transparency thing you guys mentioned), now when there is clearly a plan, rather than waiting til after the fact.
I acknowledge that I don't know what the changes will be, and while there's always an outside chance they will be an overall net gain, or minimal break even, we should all, Kabam reps included, acknowledge that your track record isn't great.
To sit here on the forums, as a Kabam rep, and advertise that someone took their Namor to R5, even after balancing, means absolutely nothing, cause the changes obviously aren't live for the masses (note...stop our speculation), which means anyone who ranked Namor, or Cull, or Maw, etc., did so on a beta server with 0 true investment, as the resources aren't real.
Your comment amounts to nothing. Give us facts prior to live implementation, and this would be a dead issue.

Also, FWIW, your lack of context is telling. Without knowing that individual's other options, needs, or current 5/65 mutants, perhaps Namor, even after balancing really was still his best option. That does not inherently imply that your changes are minimal.
If Ferrari takes 20mph off the top end of one of its cars (a 10% decrease in performance of a previously 200mph car), it may still be good cause it handles better. But if I bought said Ferrari to go in a straight line as fast as possible, taking 10% off it's top end is crippling, no matter how you slice it.
That's the problem you at Kabam are failing to acknowledge. Any changes you make, regardless of overall all net increase/decrease/break even, are irrelevant to a given individual, because the change you made as a balance may have crippled his, or her, reasons for ranking.
What's crazy is they postponed the balancing of champs so they could better communicate changes. Then without warning or communication they add another champ to the balancing program. My understanding was he was old enough to be outside of their new balancing program but clearly I was wrong. One of the biggest problem I have about these balancing changes is not just the catalyst involved in ranking them up it's the large amount of sig stones required to max one out. Namor specifically needs a very high sig and I dumped lots of generic sig stones into him. I wouldn't want back mutant stones nearly as much as the generic but they're all precious resources.

This is typical PR reply which appears to be “giving facts” but actually meaningless and misleading.
After 311 earthquakes in Japan, many citizens queries about the transparency of radiation level. One local official said “we have citizen who count on our radiation meter and move back”. Yet the fact is that this person don’t want to give up those animals in his village and thus returning to feed them. He is exposing to pretty high radiation and remains as one of the few local citizens who stayed in the contaminated area. Such local official was being accused by the community for his ruthless speech.
Kabam mike you should able to let us know what changes are by now. Why is it so hard to let is know. Obviously if someone at Kabam has maxed him out after the changes then you know what the changes are stop be secretive and just tell us already this is ridiculous.
@Kabam Miike That was a terrible way to respond to the community. Y’all act like we don’t make you guys money or something. Without us your company wouldn’t be where it is today. All we ask is for transparency and y’all can’t seem to give us that. Y’all release Champs without properly testing them, then later realize y’all messed up and instead of fixing them right away y’all wait for months for players to fork over money, time and resources for these champs. After that y’all announce a nerf, oops I mean rebalance. It’s like you’re trying to scam your customers. EA treats me better than this and that’s saying a lot.
So just watched a video of 6* r3 namor and a 6* r3 corvus... @Kabam Miike when can we get info on the upcoming Corvus nerf? He has utilities, namor doesn’t, he can survive through death, namor does not. Ends fights under 20-30 hits, and if a special boost is on just chain some sp2. Just pulled corvus but would like clarification on “high”damage champions nerfs. If namor and cull are now, then he has to be next with that stacked of utilities.
Would almost bet money they end up capping his fury at best to 2 at once. They'll probably also make some adjustments to the damage reflect where it doesn't interact with certain debuffs.
ohh yeh they "balanced" dr strange so hard ,they even decided not to put any values on fury, armour, crit , or block prof he gets on his phases!!! his abilties just says he "gets attack increase " but by how much no one knows?!! i understand if his regen was too much , balance him with other stuff but they reduced damage, based his abities on rng, fate seal on sp3 is for mere 5 seconds and a damn regen!!! that regen is so low without mephisto you cant make any use of it why butcher one of the best characters in marvel and Mcu like this!!! please "REBALANCE balance" dr strange!! not even near "balanced" namor sig 200 for another 18 months so cant even comment about it.

I definitely agree with you on the Dr. Strange nerf and for those of you that are new Dr. Strange really was one of the best champs i started 3yrs ago and Strange ws honestly one of my fav champs! So it was tragic to see the nerf, but hopefully kabam will realize that this isn't street fighter 2 lol unique & sometimes op champs are a good thing!
All this outrage for changes that we don't know about, and haven't happened yet...
Just another day on the internet I suppose.
Yeah they can put all this to bed if they just announce the changes once and for all. It’s not like they don’t have it ready, its all just about the timing for announcing. So much for transparency

Maybe so. Or maybe there will still be people mad at whatever minor change they make.
I mean... we have to be mad at something all the time right?
Knowing theres balance changes coming I would rush into using Namor. You've waited this long for him you can wait another month to see how the rebalance affects him, then make your decision.
Sorry guys, looks like me trying to add a little light here has made things worse. We will not release any more information or comment on the any balance changes until they are ready to be announced going forward.

Community hears: you’re turning Namor into Cyclops! Waaahhhhh!
Kabam replies: Namor is still gonna be really good.
Community replies: waaaaahhhhhhh! Namor only good if he’s super duper OP! Where is my pacifier?
Lather, rinse, repeat.
