Resource sharing?

Is it possible to send resources like catalysts, and such to alliance members or friends in the game?
If so, then how?

No it is not. Only (certain) crystals/potions/revives/energy refills can be gifted, when one is given the gifting badge, which is usually around Christmas/Chinese new year.

As in, we just finished having the Gifting Event.

But more directly, NO. Even during gifting, it is not your own excess resources you are sending to others. It is items that have to be purchased from Store (basically) using your Units, purchasing them as part of a Gifting process which is sent to someone (instead of going into your own resources).
