Archangel takes damage from Domino's Crit Failure?

As far as I know, "Archangel's Ability Accuracy cannot be decreased by his opponent's abilities".
Mysterio almost has the same line, saying "Mysterio's Ability Accuracy cannot be decreased".

Then why does AA take damage from Domino's Critical Failure which should activate when an ability fails to trigger, while Mysterio doesn't?
This is the Domino in Variant 1 Chapter 1 Quest 2

Is it a bug or am I misunderstanding something?

Critical failure doesn't only trigger with AAR. Because AA has a chance to trigger the bleed and
/or poison on the enemy when he hits and doesn't inflict either that counts for critical failure to trigger. Not related to AAR.
As far as mysterio it's because none of his abilities are chance based except after the sp1 there's a 40% chance for the opponent to miss but if you don't use that then the critical failure will never trigger.

Not a bug.
Critical failure triggers when your ability fails to trigger as well. Since Archangel doesnt guarantee he will apply something, it can fail and will trigger critical failure
