Can we talk about how he doesn't have the #Avengers Tag on his profile? After Endgame, upon the release of FFH and it's MCOC update, I feel as if he should have been classified as one.

    Movies aside, he is not an avenger in the game. He doesn't have a tag due to not being an avenger.

    Well, yeah. The #Avenger tag means the champion interacts with other champions as if they were an Avenger, not that the champion is based on a character that was ever an Avenger in the comics or the movies. The tag or lack of tag represents the decision made by Marvel and Kabam that within the context of MCOC Stealth Suit Spiderman is not an Avenger.

    Given no other obvious reason to contradict their decision, I see no reason to question it. And the source material itself has no obvious reason to contradict that decision because in the fiction of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Peter Parker was never made an official member of the Avengers, by virtue of never being a member of the Avenger Initiative or officially announced to the world as an Avenger by anyone in authority. Remember that in the MCOC universe, being an Avenger is not just a casual title: there are legal ramifications of being an official member of the Avengers because the Avengers are an official United States government sanctioned entity. I'm not even sure Peter Parker can be an official member of the Avengers as he is legally a minor.

    In the comic books this situation is different because the Avengers are a self-titled group of superheroes: anyone can be a member of the Avengers in the comic books if the members of the team all agree they are (at least, this was true at some times in the canon, depending on when you draw your inspiration from). But in the MCU where the stealth suit Spiderman makes his appearance, being a member of the Avengers is a legal distinction.

    And even if "Spiderman" was made a legal Avenger off-screen and signed the Sokovia Accords (assuming they exist post-snap) it is obvious that the stealth suit is Nick Fury's way of trying to guard Peter Parker's anonymity, which reinforces the notion that Stealth Suit Spiderman shouldn't be considered an Avenger, because the characters in the story are explicitly trying to eliminate all apparent ties between that person and the Avengers (and Peter Parker, and Spiderman).
