    Can't I spend it anywhere else because I am currently at Proven but there are excess acorns with me and I want to spend them and I already have purchased every available item in the store out there

    They said that we’ll be able to spend it on less desirable items after the event I think

    Total rewards are only for uncollected and above. You have to progress in your story mode before the event is over to spend more.
