Scarlet witch vs human torch

So I took human torch in to finish off a map5 scarlet witch and although he wrecked her I noticed that none of scarlet witch's abilities proc'd. Was I really lucky with the rng? Or is there something I am missing from human torch's mechanics

    I didn't know if it had something to do with his attacks not making contact

    Could be wrong but it feels like he reduces AA against mystics, certainly in Nova form. It doesn’t say in his abilities unless I’m missing something but things don’t proc against him
