5 star special abilities

hello i am pretty new to the contest and am about to get my first 5 star champ (in a few days anyways.) I have heard 5 stars have extra special abilities and was wondering how those work and what they do?

Extra special 3 damage and less special 3 damage from opponents.
Plus higher base stats

Only thing 5*s have over others is the special 3 mini game shown in this vid. Tap the screen to stop the bar for an increase in damage. Well some of thier awakened abilites get a small increase compared to their lesser counterparts. But yeah S3 mini game.
