The mastery is working. It says, “Reveal the hidden class of mutant enemies...” This means that if their a mutant ambush 1 step away from you on the map, you will be able to see that the enemy is mutant, but not any other info about it.

The champions on hidden nodes have been mapped out. I’m guessing that is map 4 you are playing.
